It's an exploit- because its an abused game bug, just like duping was. The only difference is Anet lets this one pass.
But RA is so broken at the moment due to leavers, that this issue doesn't really make any difference.

Most syncers (and many "top players" are among them) sync throughout the alliance so you can't technically blame them, there is no same guild tag. It's a disadvantage for others who can't coordinate over Vent/TS, but then, the same people who sync to gain the advantage are those who on the other hand cry because some 4-man Rit/SS/whatever team rolled over them. So while they preach and moan that the TA-format promotes so-called retarded, gimmick, lazy etc.. builds they on the other hand cooperatively farm scrubs in RA and feel good about it.

The Eula clearly say that to use an exploit/non-intended advantage is breaking the Eual and deserve a ban.
Synching is exploting thus deserve a ban.
Those who support Synch joining support BTW duping (disconnect exploit) broken skill farming (remember of the signet of Ghostly Might anyone? There was no rule uh? What happened to those who used this to climb ladder?You guessed: banned).
A-Net don't do anything and thus support theur own Eula Breach and thus I will ban them, soon.

Synchers suck.

It's plain and simple abuse and people who do it are just too shit at the game to win where synching is the standard: in TA. They are selfish individuals who want an easy win at the expense of others who stand no chance without build nor coordination.

Given the effort needed in RA to get a 10 win streak, it's extremely lame to get cheated out of it after 8-9 wins by a synch team.

Failed synch's also cause massive team leaving, in cases where it would normally not be justified, i.e., team has a chance, but buddy is not in it --> leave. It should be stopped, but I fear there won't be an easy solution for it.

In the mean time: avoid Int Districts, where there are fewer players and where synchers thrive.

Ive seen several teams in RA from korean and taiwanese servers with 4 matching tags, its likely that theres only 4 people on those servers that arent farming gold.

The only way to stop it is to take players from all servers into teams in RA so theres a larger pool and even lower chance of synching, either that or completely seperate them so if people leave from international districts they only face other international players.

sure, it's not fair, and shouldn't be done, but clearly arenanet doesn't care enough seeing how they abuse it themselves.
